Закінчуємо розмову про братів та сестер. Працюємо над текстом-зразком, який допоможе розповідати про своїх рідних. Не забуваємо поповнювати сторінку про брата і/або сестру у своєму сімейному альбомі.
Ex.7. Read and say what the children in John’s family look like. (Прочитай і скажи, чим схожі діти у сім’ї Джона).
I have got a friend. His name is John. He is a nice, good-looking boy. John is not an only child in the family. He has got one brother and two twin sisters. John is eight years old, his brother is five and his sisters are only two. So my friend is Big Brother John.
All the children in the family are good-looking. His twin sisters look very much alike. They are fair-haired and blue-eyed. But the brothers do not look alike: John is fair-haired and his brother is red-haired.
John adores his brother and sisters. He likes to play with them.
У мене є друг. Його звуть Джон. Він гарний та симпатичний хлопчик. Джон не єдина дитина у сім’ї. У нього є один брат і дві сестри - близнючки. Джону 8 років, його братові 5, а сестрам тільки 2 роки. Таким чином (Одже), мій друг – великий (старший) брат Джон.
Всі діти у сім’ї симпатичні. Його сестри – близнючки дуже схожі. Вони світловолосі і синьоокі. Але брати не схожі. Джон світловолосий, а його брат рудий.
Джон обожнює своїх брата і сестер. Він любить грати з ними.
Ex.8. Answer the questions about John, his brother and sisters.
1. Is John an only child in the family? – No, he isn’t. John is not an only child in the family.
2. How many sisters has he got? - He has got two sisters.
3. Who is red-haired in his family? - His brother is. His brother is red – haired.
4. Are John’s twin sisters blue-eyed or brown-eyed? – They are blue-eyed.
5. The children are good-looking, aren’t they? – Yes, they are. The children are good-looking.
Ex.9. Talk with friends about your brothers and/or sisters (Поговори з друзями про своїх братів та/або сестер.)
I have got a sister (brother).
He/she is dark-haired and blue – eyed.
He/she is 2 years old.
My sister (brother) and I look (do not look) alike.
I adore my sister (brother).
I like to play with her (him).
We often play hide-and-seek together.

(Скільки? - У мене є брат (і сестра).
How good-looking? - He is nice and good-looking. (They are…)
(Наскільки симпатичний? - Він гарний і симпатичний. ( Вони...))
How old? - He is 5 years old.
(Скільки років? - Йому 5 років.)
How much alike? - We look (very much) alike.
(Наскільки схожі? - Ми (дуже) схожі.
How often? – We often play together.
(Як часто? - Ми часто граємо разом.)
