                                                    GRACE

 Grace is an English schoolgirl. She goes to school every day. After the lessons she comes back home and does her homework. Then she plays with her friends. They also talk about the news of the day. They tell each other about their classmates and teachers, their likes and dislikes, books and films. She likes to listen to their stories, real or unreal. She doesn’t often have her own story to tell.
 But today she does – she has a real story to tell. Her friends want to hear it very much. The girl looks upset. Something happened to her at school. She says that she didn’t come back home in time. Her teacher kept her after the lessons for something she didn’t do. “What was it?” her friends wonder. “M-m-my lessons” is her answer.
 Grace’s friends don’t laugh at her story. They can see that she has a problem at school. They want to help her with her lessons. They know it is going to be all right.

                                          Грейс

    Грейс – англійська школярка. Вона ходить до школи щодня. Після уроків вона повертається додому і робить домашнє завдання. Потім вона грає з друзями. Вони  також розмовляють про новини дня. Вони розповідають один одному про своїх однокласників та вчителів, про свої уподобання та не уподобання,  про книжки і фільми. Вона любить слухати їхні історії, справжні або нереальні. Вона не часто має власну історію, щоб розповісти.

   Але сьогодні вона має – вона має справжню історію, щоб розповісти. Її друзі дуже хочуть її (історію) почути. Дівчина виглядає засмученою. Щось трапилося з нею у школі. Вона каже, що не повернулася додому вчасно. Вчитель затримав її після уроків за те, що вона не робила. "Що то було?" -  цікавляться друзі. "М-м-мої уроки." - є її відповідь.

   Друзі Грейс не сміються  з її історії. Вони можуть бачити, що у неї проблема у школі. Вони хочуть допомогти їй з уроками. Вони знають, що все буде гаразд.

I have a real story to tell. It happened at school. The teacher asked me about Ukrainian traditions. But I didn’t know the task. I looked upset. My friend helped me. Everything was all right.
