Jack’s Weekend
I am Jack. I live in Canada. I go to school on weekdays, but I have a weekend to myself. It starts on Friday afternoon and lasts till Sunday evening afternoon and lasts till Sunday evening. My typical weekend looks like this. On Friday evenings I can go to a museum. On Saturday mornings I usually play hockey with my friends, then in the afternoon, I do my lessons and help my parents about the house. My Sunday starts with a swim in the pool, then my dad takes us for a drive, with a quiet evening back home. I try to work and play at the weekend. I don’t want to hear from anyone that “All work and no play makes Jack (and I AM Jack, you know) a dull boy” or “All play and no work makes Jack (me!) a mere toy”.

Я Джек. Я живу в Канаді. Я ходжу до школи по буднях, але свої вихідні я присвячую собі. Вони починаються в п'ятницю пополудні і тривають до вечора неділі. Мій типовий уікенд виглядає так. У п'ятницю ввечері я можу піти в музей. У суботу вранці я зазвичай граю в хокей з друзями, потім в другій половині дня я роблю уроки і допомагаю своїм батькам по дому. Моя неділя починається з купання в басейні, потім тато забирає нас у поїздку на машині, з тихим вечором вдома. Я намагаюся працювати і грати у вихідні. Я не хочу чути ні від кого, що "тільки робота і ніякої гри робить Джека (а я і є Джек, як ти знаєш) нудним хлопчиком" або "тільки гра і ніякої роботи робить Джека (мене!) просто іграшкою".
