У минулому році ми розмовляли про свята в Британії, в Америці та в Україні. А зараз знайомимося з традиціями Японії. Використовуємо текст - зразок для розповіді про свій День народження.

                                   MYO’S SPECIAL CELEBRATION

I believe everybody likes to celebrate. In Japan children enjoy different celebrations. They can get together on these days and have a lot of fun. But there are also special days for Japanese children –their birth days when they are 3, 5 and 7. At this age there is a special celebration called Shichi-Go-San (Seven-five-three in Japanese). Yesterday I celebrated my seventh birthday and it was such an unforgettable day! I got up early and my mum presented me with a new beautiful kimono. I put it on and looked into the mirror. My granny said, “You look so nice in it! Now you are quite a big girl”. I was happy to hear that. So, all my family members went to shrine. There were many people there. Children got special sweets. After that we went home. When I was coming up to our house, I saw many red and yellow balloons on the door. Then I heard the voices of my friends. They were waiting for me in the sitting room. I opened the door and they cried, “Surprise, Myo! Happy Birthday!” And our party began.We ate a tasty meal, played computer games, danced and sang. My dad organized interesting competitions for my guests and we took part in them gladly. I liked “Magic Box”competition best: he, who finds a magic box, gets a nice present inside. So, all my friends got something to remember my birthday. It’s fun, isn’t it?

                                 ОСОБЛИВЕ СВЯТКУВАННЯ  МІО

Я вірю (вважаю), що всі люблять святкувати. У Японії діти насолоджуються різними святами. Вони можуть зібратися разом у ці дні і багато розважатися. Але є також особливі дні для японських дітей - їхні дні народження, коли їм  3, 5 і 7. У цьому віці є спеціальне свято, яке називається Shichi-Go-San (сім-п'ять-три на японській мові). Вчора я святкувала мій сьомий день народження, і це був такий незабутній день! Я встала рано, і моя мама подарувала мені нове красиве кімоно. Я вдягнула його і подивилася в дзеркало. Моя бабуся сказала: "Ти так гарно виглядаєш у ньому! Тепер ти доволі велика дівчинка ". Я була щасливою почути це. Отже, всі члени моєї сім'ї пішли в храм. Там було багато людей. Діти отримали спеціальні солодощі. Після цього ми поїхали додому. Коли я підходила до нашого будинку, я побачила багато червоних і жовтих кульок на дверях. Потім я почула голоси друзів. Вони чекали на мене у вітальні. Я відкрила двері, і вони закричали: “Сюрприз, Міо! З днем народження!" І почалася наша вечірка. Ми їли смачну їжу, грали в комп'ютерні ігри, танцювали і співали. Мій тато організував для моїх гостей цікаві змагання, і ми з радістю взяли участь у них. Найбільше мені сподобався конкурс "Чарівна коробка": той, хто знаходить чарівну коробку, отримує приємний подарунок всередині. Отже, всі мої друзі отримали щось, щоб запам'ятати мій день народження. Це весело, чи не так?

Do it Yourself! Draw a picture of your favourite holiday and write 7–8 sentences about its celebration. (Зроби сам! Намалюй фотографію свого улюбленого свята і напишіть 7–8 речень про його святкування.)
